On Iran wild life tour, we will have an adventure in Iran national parks to see fauna and flora of this amazing land from south to North, our journey goes through the deserts and jungles. It starts from beautiful Shiraz city, where story of Persia starts in Persepolis, ancient capital of the Achaemenid Empire and Pasargadae to visit the tomb of Cyrus the great.

Troglodyte village of Maymand (WHS)  is our turning point of tour into the adventure, caved into the mountains, the local are living the same way for a 1000 years, in harmony with nature.  We will go through the Rageh canyon near Rafsanjan, the city popular for its pistachios all around the world. Nayband Village with its unique architecture is where we spend the night with the local where beams from palm trees and palm leaves have been used as rooftops.

Naybandan Wildlife Sanctuary is the largest among Iran national parks, that is also known to have held the highest population of Asiatic Cheetas, we will spend a full day in this protected area spotting Persian leopard, caracal, wild goat, jebeer gazelle, wild sheep, mouflon, ibex, Blanford’s fox, Rüppell’s fox are found in the sanctuary.

Our next destination is the most intact Iran national Park named Khartooran, on way toward this resort, we will stop by Ferdows to visit the historical sights of this city like Toon historical city, Jameh mosque of Toon and Olia historical school. Khartooran National Park is famous for Pleske’s ground jay, variety of reptiles and snakes, we will have a full day tour in this protected area.

Golestan National Park is the house to 50% of all animal variety in Iran, there is a lot to explore, breathtaking views of Hyrcanian forest and intact wildlife of Iran is waiting for us. The most important animal’s inhabitant in Golestan National Park are: Rabbit, tiger, golden eagle, wolf, fox, panther, bear, sable wild cat, wild goat, wild pig (bore), gazelle, ram, deer, venison, kinds of snake, kinds of fish, black dall, delijeh, pray birds.

On our way back to Tehran, we stop by Damavand Mountain foothills. After a long discovery of Iran’s nature, it is time to take a look at capital. We will visit both Golestan Palace and nature bridge, an ancient and modern look of Tehran. There is transfer service to the airport. Hope to see you again in Iran.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Shiraz international airport, meeting the local guide and transferring to hotel and checking-in. Depending on arrival time, we have time to walk around the city.

Day 2

On second day we have full day excursion to heart of Persia, Persepolis. Then we will go on to Pasargadae to visit tomb of Cyrus the great tomb and museums in the complex.

Day3

Our journey to Iran wild life begins by traveling Meymand, a living troglodyte village where we have the chance to spend a night there in a local house.

Day 4

On our way to Nayband Village, we will go trekking in Rageh canyon in Rafsanjan, city of Pistachu, if you traveling in September or October, We may have a chance to pay a visit to pistachu harvesting gardens.

Day 5

Full day tour in Nayband National Park to see Fauna and Flora of this amazing intact area, and the joy of stunning night sky.

Day 6

To explore more of Iran desert, we will move on toward Tabas, visiting and staying in Esfahak village.

Day 7

Khartooran national Park is our next destination, on our way toward our adventure in this area, we will stop by Ferdows.

Day 8

We will spend a full day in Khartooran National Park, What we expect is Pleske’s ground jay which is the inhabitant of this area, and if we are lucky enough spotting Persian leopard. Reptiles are the next creature we spot the most on our visit.

Day 9

We head to Golestan national Park, on our way to Golestan we will stop by sabzevar and Salook national park.

Day 10

Golestan national park is home to mammals possibly you can see 18 types of bats in this area, Ovis orientalis vignei is also what we expect.

Day 11

On our way back to Tehran, we will have a short stop by Damavand Mountain to enjoy the amazing sights. Arrival in Tehran and check- in at hotel.

Day 12

Visiting ancient and modern look of Tehran, we will have a full day city tour of capital, paying visits to Golestan palace(WHS), Tehran Bazaar and Tabiat bridge.

Day 13

On last day saying goodbye is not easy, we hope you enjoyed tour and see you again in Iran . Checking out of hotel and transfer to IKIA and departure to your home.
