Looking for a destination for your next adventure tour, Iran Desert expedition is an ideal choice. Spending 8 days in the most natural beautiful deserts of Iran and the way people have embraced the nature and synchronized with it. The journey starts from the capital, Tehran. Depending on your arrival time we will have city tour paying a visit to Golestan Palace (the only UNESCO site of the capital) where the Iranian architecture and European style meet, Tajrish Bazaar will also be an option.  Our journey to desert will starts from Kashan a city that houses Noosh Abad Underground city, mysterious Sialk-hill or Ziggurat (6000-5500 BC) and the most beautiful Iranian houses like Tabatabaiha in Qajar era. Not far from the city we will go to Maranjab desert and salt lake with the taste of safari rides and staying in a real caravanserai. Abyaneh village is our next stop, meeting the friendly locals in customs. It is time to visit Isfahan a real jewel of Persia. Imam Square (UNESCO Site) with the master pieces of Islamic Architecture is a must visit city of Iran, Vank church with the amazing wall paintings and Jameh Mosque will be our next visits. Moving on along central Iran we are going to Varzaneh, a village where you see how locals have synced their lives with dry weather. A million star hotel is waiting for us while staying the night in Varzaneh desert. On our way back to Tehran we pay a short visit to Hozeh Soltan, a salt lake with nice reflections of the blue sky.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at the Imam Khomeini airport, meeting with local guide, transfer to the hotel, check in and depending on your arrival time, we will have a city tour of the capital visiting Golestan Palace and Tajrish bazaar, overnight stay in Tehran.

Day 2

Our journey will start after a great breakfast at hotel and we will head to Kashan to pay a visit to traditional Iranian houses, Tabatabaei and Boroujerdi. The visit will be completed with the interesting and practical design of Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse and mysterious water fountains of Fin garden.

Day3

On 3rd day we will explore underground city of Nush Abad, which was found just in recent 20 years, then we will go on even deeper in history visiting Sialk hill. The journey will go on heading to Maranjab desert to watch the beautiful sunset, we will stay in Maranjab caravanserai.

Day 4

Spent the night in a million star hotel, after breakfast we get to Maranjab salt lake and will pay a visit to ancient Abyaneh village on the way to Isfahan.

Day 5

Isfahan is definitely a must see city to all people around the globe, having world heritage sites is proof of the claim. Precious Iranian Architecture and culture is mirrored perfectly in Imam Square (UNESCO Site), Ali Qapu Palace & Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Chehel Sotun Palace. Vank Cathedral Museum and Jameh Mosque also have stories to tell.

Day 6

On this day we are going to explore Varzaneh district and get familiar with the highlights of life in desert regions. We have the chance to visit Dovecote a pigeon house and its practical design to house 6000 pigeons, Ghoortan Citadel also played a critical role back in 1000 years ago. Varzaneh desert is now inviting us to spend a night there and pick stars in its beautiful sky all night long.

Day 7

On our back to Tehran we will stop in Qom for a while and then Hozeh Soltan, a lake absorbing rainfalls and rivers crossing the salt marshes. The amount of water vary all year round, but the beauty remains intact.

Day 8

It’s time to depart and to say goodbye with memories of regions and people who truly value water supplies, with the hope of seeing you again here in Iran.
